RatX® Pellets: The Highly-Effective Rodent Extermination Solution
RatX® has a number of advantages that make it an excellent choice for efficient, effective, and environmentally-friendly rodent extermination. Aside from its overall efficacy and rodent-killing process, RatX® Pellets are also safe for people, pets, livestock and wildlife when used as directed. RatX® is even safe to birds of prey with no risk of secondary kill when used as directed.
Note that since RatX® is designed to work only on the digestive systems of rats and mice, it is ineffective at exterminating other rodents, including squirrels, gophers and voles. However, RatX® will kill domestic rats and mice and should not be used anywhere near pet gerbils. Pest control professionals and property owners alike will be pleased to know that RatX® has a 25b Classification, meaning that it has no special requirements for transport, handling, storage, or disposal.
How to Use RatX® Pellets
Using RatX® to exterminate rats and/or mice on a property is quite simple. This is due in large part to the fact that RatX®, unlike other rodent traps and poisons, actually attracts rodents with its formula. Here’s how to use it:
Step 1: Ensure that all other potential food sources are removed from the area you are treating.
Step 2: Portion the proper amount of RatX® into small cling wrap bags. (You can also use pre-portioned RatX® Ready Trays to skip the measuring.) 40-60 grams or 1-1/2 to 2 ounces are needed for Rats; 10-15 grams or 1/3 to 1/2 ounces are needed for Mice.
Step 3: Place bait trays or use pre-packaged RatX® Ready Trays in areas where you have observed rodent activity. For maximum effectiveness, place RatX® near holes and runs. If you don’t have bait trays or the Ready Trays, you can fill cling wrap bags with the RatX® Pellets.
Step 4: Keep pellets dry (wetness reduces effectiveness) and continue to bait until rat and/or mouse activity ceases. Don’t underestimate the amount of rodents on your property. Continue to refill until pellets are no longer eaten. An indicator of consumption will be fecal droppings bleached in color and up to 3 times larger than normal rat or mouse droppings.
